We want to accommodate as many VIP guests as possible, while keeping the experience very high quality. Nothing says summer like a trip to the water park! Pack your swimsuit when you head to ROTHBURY; we?re excited to announce that the Gold Rush Water Park will be open during the festival. The Gold Rush, a permanent fixture of the Double JJ, will be open 11 a.m. ? 7 p.m. daily on Thursday, July 3rd through Sunday, July 6th. Tickets to the Water Park are $20 per visit, and includes a shuttle to and from the Water Park, a towel and a shower. Tickets can only be purchased on-site at ROTHBURY. Stay tuned for details. We regretfully announce that Gogol Bordello will be missing ROTHBURY this summer. The band asked we share the following letter with you all:

Dear Friends,
It is with deep regret that Gogol Bordello has to cancel our planned appearance at this years' ROTHBURY. Due to a personal family matter and unforeseen circumstances, we will not be able to perform during late June and early July.

Gogol Bordello can count on one hand the amount of times we have cancelled shows in the past and it is not something that we like to do. Our supporters are the best in the world and we do not want to disappoint anyone, be it a comrade in music, a promoter or a fan. This has been a long arduous decision and not one that we have taken lightly. We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to reschedule all affected shows in the near future as well as appear at ROTHBURY in 2009.
