On our country's birthday weekend, ROTHBURY brings together the innovators, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, celebs, and rabble rousers who – in this time of economic, energy and climate crisis – are offering a green path to a brighter future. They'll share their strategies and successes, and offer practical ideas, inspiration, and hands-on opportunities to learn new skills that benefit both the environment and us. It's time to have fun, talk solutions, and learn how YOU can join with us in growing the New Green Economy.

It's time for a New Independence Day.

The ROTHBURY Think Tank is an event within the event, offering various buzz sessions and roundtables between leading scientists, scholars, writers, progressive political and corporate leaders, youth leaders, ROTHBURY artists, and...you.  Hands-on workshops will offer opportunities to learn how to find a green job, make your home and office energy efficient, grow your own organic food, and more – all opportunities to become a part of emerging “New Green Economy” solutions that are also energy independence and climate change solutions.  Think Tank discussions – planned and spontaneous – will offer rare opportunities to huddle with top experts, youth energy independence activists, and ROTHBURY fans alike to plot solutions.

In 2009, we won’t only THINK.  We will dig deeper into last year’s themes and we will DO. Join with us in spreading the Think Tank vibe throughout ROTHBURY’s forests and meadows!
