ROTHBURY'S Open Mic
So you want to be heard? ROTHBURY could be your BIG Gig. ROTHBURY attendees have the opportunity to be part of the programming (and to be included in the Festival program) by submitting to participate in ROTHBURY’s Open Mic.
ROTHBURY will host an open mic each day. This is not a contest to be judged. Instead, it is a forum for expression of thought and art, via the following formats:
- Poetry / Spoken Word
- Magic / Theatre / Performance Art
- Music
- Soap Box
All performers must be confirmed in advance of the event, via an online entry form. Deadline for entry is May 15, 2008. Submit as an individual or a group. Minimum performance length is 5 minutes; maximum performance length is 15 minutes.

ROTHBURY TIME CAPSULE
Help to decide what best defines our time!
What from our world today would you choose to preserve for future generations to unearth? What story would you want to tell in 2058 or 2108 about who we are, and what we were about?
ROTHBURY will be burying a sealed Time Capsule during the event. And YOU get to choose what is in it!
Deadline for submission is May 15, 2008.
We’ll pick the 5 best submissions, based on pertinence and creativity, to be included in the ROTHBURY Time Capsule. The top entry will win One Lifetime ROTHBURY VIP Pass. Maybe you'll be there when the Time Capsule is opened.

ESSAY CONTEST #1: What would you do with $500.00 to make a difference in the life of one Iraqi person or family?
ESSAY CONTEST #2: What would you do with $500.00 to make a difference in the life of one American person or family who has a loved-one deployed in Iraq?
Well then, go ahead and do it!
Tell us your plan by participating in one or both of ROTHBURY’s Essay Contests. Deadline for entry is May 15, 2008. Submissions must be no longer than 500 words.
A ROTHBURY panel will choose one winner from each essay contest. ROTHBURY will work with the appropriate international organizations to implement the winners' plans. Plus, the winners will each be awarded a Sonos Multi-room Music System Bundle 130.

Does your band want to perform at ROTHBURY? Or, do you want to help choose
who does and win tickets to the festival in the process? ROTHBURY, in

At least two lucky bands will win spots on this year's bill at ROTHBURY--
that's right, your band next to Dave Matthews Band, Widespread Panic, 311,

Not only can bands enter for a chance to perform on stage at ROTHBURY, but
fans can help decide which bands should win! Any fan who comes to judge in
the channel will be entered to win one of 3 pairs of tickets to ROTHBURY and
